The walk typically takes 30–45 minutes depending on your pace, and while it’s free and scenic, it’s physically demanding. Comfortable, rubber-soled shoes and plenty of water are essential. Many travelers prefer walking down instead of up, especially if they’ve already spent time in Fira and want to avoid the cable car line.
